Job Summary
Assess patients prior to admission via phone or in person, collect medical history from records, and coordinate needs with the anesthesia department. Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to established policies and standards. Maintain professional accountability and coordinate care with other departments under the direct supervision of the ASU Nurse Manager. Work a 5a-1:30p or 530a-2p shift with no call and weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association certification
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- NO CALL
- WEEKEND ROTATION
- 1 MAJOR 1 MINOR HOLIDAY
- 5a-1:30p or 530a-2p shift availability
