Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in the Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Support a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes while prioritizing patient wellness and safety at the point of care. Precept new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education for competency validation throughout clinical orientation. Maintain ACLS certification within six months of hire and ensure BLS/CPR cards are current through the first sixty days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
