Job Summary
Perform and document pre/post procedure assessments, evaluations, and patient education. Monitor patients to maintain a safe environment and optimize outcomes while responding to life-threatening situations using nursing standards and protocols. Provide nursing care in a technically complex, fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and decisive judgment with minimal supervision. Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, delivering education appropriate to age, culture, and condition. Maintain BLS and CPR certification before start date and complete ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire. Requires 6 months of RN experience and state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
- PALS Certification within 90 days of hire
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months RN experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
