RN Postpartum PRN

Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered postpartum care in accordance with organizational protocols and the nursing process. Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer prescribed medications, and monitor for side effects while documenting findings accurately. Assist physicians during procedures, respond to medical emergencies, and participate in life-saving interventions such as CPR and code team activities. Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care, ensuring understanding and adherence to instructions. Monitor and operate medical equipment, implement infection control protocols, and promote patient safety by adhering to National Patient Safety Goals. Participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery.
