Job Summary
RN Post Partum with 0.7 FTE (56 hours per two-week pay period) providing obstetric nursing care to mothers and families in the postpartum period. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient/family assessments, planning and coordinating care, supervising progress, and modifying care plans as needed. Delivers care to obstetrics patients during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods; maintains competencies and incorporates evidence-based nursing practices; collaborates with family and patient to establish realistic outcomes and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team. Supplemental roles may include Charge Nurse and Preceptor as applicable. Requires 8-hour day/night shifts with every other weekend rotation; 28 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Vocational degree
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association OR Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross OR Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource required for identified units per hiring manager within 4 months
- ACLs required for identified units per hiring manager
- RN Licensure MN/WI (state-specific upon hire)
