Job Summary
Conduct post-anesthesia care for patients in the recovery unit at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care while managing variable 12-hour shifts within a 36-hour weekly schedule. Maintain Alaska Registered Nurse licensure and complete required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications upon hire or within 90 days. Provide specialized nursing support across the recovery services department, adhering to the organization's commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
