Job Summary
Conduct post-anesthesia care for patients in the PACU at Providence Alaska Medical Center, applying specialized training to deliver patient-focused, whole-person care. Manage recovery services for patients transitioning from surgery, ensuring safety and monitoring vital signs throughout the 12-hour shifts. Maintain Alaska Registered Nurse licensure and hold required certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Work full-time on a variable shift schedule with 36 hours weekly. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
