Job Summary
RN - Pulmonary Medicine Unit on day shift (Naperville/Lisle, IL) providing professional nursing care per Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies. Responsibilities include assessing patients, recognizing changes, planning and evaluating care, delegating tasks to other staff, and functioning as a team member to meet unit goals. Requires IL RN licensure, CPR certification, and a nursing degree (BSN preferred; ADN with BSN progression within 5 years acceptable). 1+ year inpatient RN experience is required. Shift is days 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekends/holidays; full-time position with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing OR Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (with requirement to graduate with a BSN within five years if ADN highest)
- Requires 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
