Job Summary
RN responsible for monitoring and coordinating nursing and medical care in the absence of the Director of Nursing, administering medications and treatments per state/federal regulations, maintaining medical records, triage in emergencies, and facilitating group processes addressing chemical dependency and mental health; requires CPR certification, at least 1 year of substance abuse/mental health experience, and licensure as a Registered Nurse or LPN in the state of employment; preferred 3 years with psychopharmacology. The role includes duties such as assessing patients, documenting care, administering treatments, coordinating referrals, and contributing to continuing education and team training.
Required Qualifications
- Registered or LP Nurse in the state of employment
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certification
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working in substance abuse and/or mental health field
- Prior experience with chemical addiction and/or mental health disease including psychopharmacology
