Job Summary
RN role leading patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; engages in teaching and adapts care to diverse patient populations; collaborates with interdisciplinary team to achieve unit/department goals; requires RN license and BLS; preferred BSN; responsibilities include using the nursing process, patient education, documentation, and adherence to compliance standards in a high-acuity PICU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
