Job Summary
Perform ultrasound-guided peripheral IV insertions, midline catheter placements, sterile dressing changes, and port access/de-access for patients with complex venous access needs. Assess vascular access requirements, recommend appropriate device selection, and collaborate with physicians and bedside nurses to troubleshoot line-related issues. Complete phlebotomy procedures and promote best practices in infection prevention and vascular safety. Maintain standards of practice while coordinating patient care activities across assigned units. Requires current Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS certification within 180 days. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS
- BLS
