RN - Phase II

Assess patients upon admission, develop and modify plans of care, and implement nursing interventions while maintaining accurate documentation. Perform preoperative and postoperative tasks including patient rooming, IV therapy administration, medication delivery, and vital signs monitoring. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia personnel, and Child Life specialists to ensure safe, efficient surgical experiences and address patient needs proactively. Maintain proficiency in arterial and central line maintenance and OptiFlow oxygen management. Requires PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications within specified timeframes and an active Illinois RN license.
