Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Perioperative Services (Casual Call, Day Shift) provides patient-focused perioperative care in a collaborative health-care team. Responsibilities include collecting comprehensive data, analyzing assessments, identifying expected outcomes, developing and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating nursing practice. The role requires on-time completion of education per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and registry requirements. Knowledge/skills include sound judgment, ability to work in a busy environment, teamwork, confidentiality, and leadership in the professional practice setting. Must hold Montana RN licensure and completed BLS/ACLS/PALS within specified timelines; 1 year acute care experience is preferred. The position may involve on-call duties and varied shifts, with physical requirements described for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
- American Heart Association PALS within 6 months of hire
- 1 year acute care experience
- Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
- Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
