Job Summary
Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient families to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process while adhering to departmental, institutional, regional, and Federal clinical and ethical standards. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values within a supportive, team environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance perinatal care processes and outcomes, contributing to a culture of safety. Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, 5 years in Women's Services, and specific perinatal safety project experience. Current RN license and relevant certifications (e.g., CCRN-NEO, C-EFM) required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- Current RN License in applicable State
- A minimum of 5 years as a clinician in Women's Services
- A minimum of 1 years of project experience in Women and Infants Perinatal Safety
- Experience with quality improvement/process improvement techniques
- project/program management experience
- Certification in one of the following: CCRN-NEO, C-EFM, RN-BC MCN, RN-BC-PERI, RNC [OB, GYN, NEONATAL], RNC-LRN, RNC-MNN, RNC-NIC, RNC-OB, C-EFM, CONQS
- BLS
- NRP within 90 days
- Must obtain certification within 6 months
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- 2 years of project experience in Women and Infants Perinatal Safety
