Job Summary
Perianesthesia RN at Children’s Surgery Center in Milwaukee, WI (0.5 FTE) providing professional nursing care throughout the perianesthesia continuum (pre- and post-operative) for pediatric patients; daytime hours with 6am–9am start flexibility and 8-hour shifts; responsibilities include delivering nursing care, coordinating perioperative care, and ensuring a safe, positive surgical experience for children and families; requires an ADN or BSN, Wisconsin RN license, CPR/BLS, and PALS within 1 year, with pediatric/post-anesthesia experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or a BSN (BSN preferred)
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin
- Three years of current post-anesthesia or critical care experience; ambulatory surgery setting desirable
- Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- PALS certifications required within 1 year of employment
- Pediatric experience preferred
