RN Peri Operative (Chesapeake Specialty Care)

Ensure the comfort and safety of each AENT patient by individualizing care according to special needs and following strict infection control procedures. Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families while maintaining the role of patient advocate. Accurately perform and document pre-procedure nursing assessments, reviewing medical records for consent, history, and pre-admission testing to ensure all documentation is complete. Report any abnormalities immediately to the responsible physician or anesthesiologist. Maintain an active Maryland Registered Nurse license with current BLS certification, with clinical expertise in otorhinolaryngological nursing preferred.
