Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities for assigned areas while collaborating with leadership to facilitate quality and performance improvement initiatives. Serve as an educational consultant for program development, clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and professional development. Conduct learning needs analyses with staff, develop annual competency and education plans, and coordinate orientation programs. Perform other duties as assigned, including direct patient care. Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or Education, current PA RN licensure, and two years of relevant clinical and education experience. Preferred OR and peri-operative experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing or Education
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- 2 years of education/training experience
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- CPR instructor certification
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- HIPAA compliance
- Code of Business Conduct adherence
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- Peri-Operative experience
