Job Summary
Provide quality nursing care under Radiology supervision, including sedation and handling emergencies during radiological procedures; must hold NV RN license with ACLS, BCLS, and PALS; capable of independent work, interpreting vital signs, administering contrast/sedation, infection control, and communicating discharge instructions for patients across diverse backgrounds; per diem shifts in Las Vegas with radiology procedures including CT biopsy.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
- ACLS, BCLS, and PALS Certified
- Knowledge of radiation protection and contrast administration
- Ability to work independently
- Defibrillation or cardioversion capability in emergencies
- Vital signs monitoring and reporting
- Infection control protocols
- IV catheters, chest ports, chest tubes, drains and urinary catheters care
- Strong communication and patient discharge instructions ability
