Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate direct and indirect nursing care for residents in accordance with the physician's plan of care. Collect health data, perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures, and assist with resident activities. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and identify individualized outcomes, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery. Utilize knowledge of resident age and cultural diversity to provide quality nursing care and contribute to performance improvement techniques. Requires at least one year of RN experience, current California RN license, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- At least one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current California RN license
- Current certification in CPR
- Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers, and providing education to residents and/or significant others
