Job Summary
Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. Responsibilities include accurately assessing, communicating, and documenting residents’ status; observing and reporting changes to the care team and physician; directing and mentoring Resident Care Assistants and Lead RCAs; coordinating care needs with community providers through an effective case management process; balancing service demands with resident independence; recognizing and reporting elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations; responding to emergencies and utilizing personal emergency response systems. Requires current RN license and CPR certification; prior experience with elderly populations is highly desirable. Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- CPR certification
- Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements)
- Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience (preferred)
- Experience with elderly population desirable
