RN Per Diem

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. Responsibilities include accurately assessing, communicating, and documenting residents’ status; observing and reporting changes to the care team and physician; directing and mentoring Resident Care Assistants and Lead RCAs; coordinating care needs with community providers through an effective case management process; balancing service demands with resident independence; recognizing and reporting elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations; responding to emergencies and utilizing personal emergency response systems. Requires current RN license and CPR certification; prior experience with elderly populations is highly desirable.
