Job Summary
RN Pediatrics Super Pool at Medical City Dallas (HCA Healthcare) seeks a pediatric RN to provide direct patient care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult populations within the Super Pool. Responsibilities include organizing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining an individualized, family-centered plan of care; participating in process improvement initiatives; maintaining high-quality age-specific care; and supporting organizational mission, vision and values. Requires nursing degree from an accredited program, BSN within 24 months if hired after 6/1/12, 3-6 years pediatrics experience across multiple areas (including potential critical care areas), and BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, PALS and STABLE within required timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire if hired after 6/1/12
- 3-6 years RN experience in pediatrics (as per agreement)
- Must be able to work in 4 of the following areas, 2 of which must be critical care: NICU, PICU, CHSU, Peds ED, 6D, 6N, Stem Cell Transplant (pediatric patients)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate within 60 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 months of employment start date
- STABLE within 60 months of employment start date
- Minimum of 3 years Hospital Experience in Pediatrics
