Job Summary
Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain individualized, family-centered care plans for pediatric acute and critically ill patients. Deliver high-quality age-specific care across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and young adult populations while participating in MCCH initiatives and process improvement efforts. Support the organization's mission, vision, and values within an 895+ bed tertiary care center serving patients from across the United States and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- 3-6 years RN experience in pediatrics
- Must be able to work in 4 of the following areas, 2 of which must be critical care: NICU, PICU, CHSU, Peds ED, 6D, 6N, Stem Cell Transplant (pediatric patients)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- STABLE must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Minimum of 3 years Hospital Experience in Pediatrics
