Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive pediatric nursing care by collecting data, analyzing assessments, and implementing individualized care plans following the ANA Nursing Process. Coordinate care delivery, provide health teaching and promotion, and evaluate patient progress while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Exercise independent judgment to assess, diagnose, and resolve illness or injury in accordance with state laws and institutional policies. Utilize applicable technology to document activities and access work-related applications. Requires 5+ years of RN experience and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
- South Dakota Board of Nursing registration
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work capability: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Proficient use of applicable technology and software to support and document nursing activities and patient care
- Access to work-related applications including company email, iLearn modules, employee engagement surveys, benefits and compensation information, and policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
