Job Summary
Provide direct pediatric nursing care to patients from newborns to 18 on a growing pediatric unit; collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, and community physicians to develop and implement patient and family-centered plans of care; ensure timely communication of patient information, safety issues, and changes in condition; uphold attendance and dependability standards; participate in interdisciplinary teams and deliver care within established policies and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required)
- Current Inpatient Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
- Current Healthcare Provider PALS certification by date of hire
- NRP certification within 4 weeks of hire
