Job Summary
Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in an Acute Care/Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and recovery progress, administering medications, collaborating with surgical teams, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation. Role requires NY RN license, BLS, and 1.5+ years of acute care experience; EPIC EMR experience preferred. Schedule features full-time Day/Evening shifts (8 shifts of 10 hours every 2 weeks) with some weekends; compensation listed at $68/hour. Include opportunities for professional growth within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS certification (current or able to recertify)
- Must not have had a professional license or certification suspended or investigated
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience in an acute care facility of similar size/level as Hospital
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
