Job Summary
Conduct critical care for pediatric patients in the ICU, managing acute respiratory and cardiac conditions while maintaining continuous monitoring and rapid response protocols. Perform daily assessments, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards and safety protocols throughout the 36-hour night shift rotation. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and communicate updates to the care team and families. Requires a Washington Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and one year of acute care experience with a similar patient population.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Acute care experience with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at the facility
