Job Summary
Ambulatory RN in Pediatric Clinic providing comprehensive nursing care for patients aged 0-21, including immunizations, circumcision assistance, and education for families; acts as preceptor and supports staff development; leads initiatives to improve care quality and outcomes; coordinates care with outside specialists, performs telephone triage for acute and chronic needs, and assists with in-office procedures and prior authorization for Synagis. Must hold IL RN license, BLS, and nursing diploma with at least 1 year of experience. Compensation includes sign-on and relocation assistance; Urbana, IL-based ambulatory setting within Carle Health.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association within 30 days
- College Diploma in Nursing
- 1+ years nursing experience (external applicants only)
