Job Summary
Registered Nurse position available at Peace Hospital in Louisville, KY for a dedicated healthcare professional to provide nursing care in the Children's Developmental Delay Unit on a day shift schedule (7a-7p). Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include prior hospital experience and a Bachelor’s Degree.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association
- Participation in Nurse Residency program for new RN graduates
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of hospital patient care experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (may be required for specific clinical areas)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be required for specific clinical areas)
Additional Requirements
- All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire.
