RN PCU Part Time Nights

RN provides patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) on a 30-bed unit. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering nursing care per the nursing process, administering prescribed medications, monitoring patient conditions, and reporting changes to the care team. The RN collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to develop and evaluate care plans, responds to emergencies with CPR/code team participation, and educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care. Maintains infection control practices, documents care activities, and participates in performance improvement initiatives. The unit supports specialization in ICU or Trauma areas, with opportunities for professional development. Qualifications include RN licensure, BCLS, and preferred ACLS/PALS/NRP.
