RN PCU

Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, serves as an advocate for patients, and supports an unparalleled patient experience. Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, perform procedures as ordered, document care in the medical record, administer prescribed medications and monitor responses, and maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care.
