Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and AACN's Synergy Model for evidence-based practice. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation under Clinical Educator support. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while navigating a four-phased orientation based on AACN's ECCO® resources for experienced nurses transitioning to critical care. Full-time, 72-hour pay period with day and night rotation.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months nursing (RN) experience
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience
