Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within the Progressive Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process in a technically complex environment. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education through Clinical Educators to validate competency. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while adhering to AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards. This onsite role involves a full-time schedule with day and night rotation, requiring six months of RN experience and state licensure. Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months nursing (RN) experience
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience
- Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
- This position is an onsite role
- Shift: Day and Night Rotation
- Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
