Job Summary
RN-Patient Placement position at OK-SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Responsible at a regional level for identifying and coordinating appropriate placement for patient admissions based on acuity, bed availability, and services; collaborates with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure correct level of care, manages bed assignments, uses hospital software for patient movement documentation, communicates with case management and physicians, participates in bed meetings, and supports timely discharges while considering ICU/stepdown/downstream care options. Requires five years of RN experience in acute care, licensure as an RN in applicable states (compact eligibility), ability to coordinate with multiple departments, and adherence to professional nursing standards. Night shift; full-time employment across facilities in IL, MO, OK, and WI with potential cross-state licensure requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Five years RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Licensed Registered Nurse in IL/MO/OK/WI or eligible via compact
- Registered Nurse license issued by respective state boards (IDFPR/OK Board of Nursing/WI DSPS)
- Ability to perform lifting and positioning, bed management, and coordination with case management and physicians
- Night shift schedule (36 hours weekly)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program or education equivalency for licensing
