Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in this part-time overnight position provides individualized care to residents in a not-for-profit senior housing and services facility. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assess, diagnose, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation), collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and coordinating resident care and education. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel as appropriate. Duties are performed within nursing standards and state regulations. The role requires an RN license; a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Work hours are 10:00 pm–6:30 am, with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation, and includes shift differentials, paid time off, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA; Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring; multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Participates in required competencies and certifications for department
