Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents in a part-time overnight shift at a long-term care facility. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation), coordinating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care, and potentially serving as charge nurse with delegation to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Requires RN licensure with state board, and a nursing education background; Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Position offers a 10:00 pm–6:30 am schedule, weekend/holiday rotations, shift differentials, sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state where practice occurs (multistate licensure if applicable)
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
