Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time overnight shift in a long-term care (LTC) facility. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized resident care, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinating care and resident assessments, and providing resident education. Role may include charge nurse duties and delegation of tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff. Requires current RN license and a nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred). Shift = 10:00 pm–6:30 am, part-time with every other weekend and holiday rotation, 20 hours/week; includes benefits, sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing (preferred)
- Knowledge of nursing process and standards of practice
- Ability to coordinate care and educate residents/families
- Ability to work night shifts and weekend/holiday rotation
- Experience in long-term care setting (preferred)
