Job Summary
The RN - Part Time Overnights role provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care, and may serve as charge nurse. Responsibilities include assessing and planning resident care, education and interventions across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring safe administration of care with appropriate delegation to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Requires nursing practice within state rules and ethics; incorporating shift-specific requirements, like night hours and weekend/holiday rotations, and participation in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Shift: 8 Hours - Night Shifts; Part-time schedule; 20 weekly hours; 10:00 pm - 6:30 am; Every other weekend and holiday rotation; Sign-on bonus may apply
