Job Summary
RN - Part Time Overnights at a not-for-profit senior care facility. Provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborates with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Practices within applicable Nursing Practice Act and standards. Shift is 10:00 pm–6:30 am, part-time with every other weekend/holiday rotation; includes shift differentials, benefits, time off, and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing (preferred)
- Ability to work part-time, overnight shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am)
- Experience in long-term care setting (preferred)
- Good standing with State Board of Nursing
- Ability to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff
- Competency in Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Ability to cooperate with interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication and resident education skills
- Background check and drug screen as condition of employment
