Job Summary
The RN provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care, with potential to serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks within licensure, practice acts, and staff competency. Performs care across preventative, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment activities, ensuring safe and reliable administration of resident care and addressing care and service concerns. Supports resident education and coordinates across the care continuum in a Christian, not-for-profit senior housing and services setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs
- multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Shift: 8 Hours - Night Shifts
- Part time schedule: 20 hours weekly
- Sign-on bonus: $5,000 (available)
- Experience: none specified but nursing scope and standards apply
- Ability to coordinate care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
- Charge nurse potential and delegation of tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff
