Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) providing individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Part-time overnight shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am with every other weekend and holiday rotation, located in Battle Lake, MN. Responsibilities include resident assessment, education, care coordination, and ensuring safe, reliable administration of care within nursing standards. Requires RN licensure (state-specific) and compliance with department competencies and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
