Job Summary
Conduct advanced client-centered therapeutic services for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances, including assessment, treatment planning, and direct service provision. Manage client risk and safety while utilizing specialized knowledge to serve as a consultant and mentor to direct care employees. Deliver individualized mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services within a structured, community living environment with 24-hour supervision. Ensure all documentation and interventions comply with applicable laws, LCI standards, and state regulations. This part-time role at Lakeview Center's Meridian SIPP supports Medicaid-eligible youth ages 7–17 through psychotherapeutic intervention and substance abuse treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse in Florida
- Certified in CPR
- Ability to effectively perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training
- Ability to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services
- Ability to use a computer
- Eligibility to participate in state or federally funded programs such as Medicaid
- Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings
- Drug Free Workplace Employer, DRUG TESTING REQUIRED
