Job Summary
RN on PART-TIME daytime shifts at St. Joseph County Jail in South Bend, IN. Responsibilities include planning and delivering comprehensive healthcare to incarcerated patients: administer medications, perform medical intakes to assess fitness for incarceration, respond to sick call requests and coordinate with medical providers, change dressings as needed, conduct 14-day physicals, manage chronic care, educate patients on health concerns, respond to medical emergencies, perform life-saving measures as required, maintain pharmacology knowledge (drug reactions, formulary costs), provide guidance to Medically Trained Personnel, and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure
- Valid CPR certification
