Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervising assigned staff and coordinating with other disciplines. Collects health data, analyzes assessments to determine diagnoses, and develops intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Implements care strategies, delegates duties to team members, and participates in discharge planning for continuity. Collaborates with patients, families, and providers in a safe, healing environment while providing learning opportunities and direct health information. Requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certifications, and a BSN; includes a $5,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
