Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data to determine diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans utilizing the ANA Nursing Process. Implement prescribed strategies to attain expected outcomes while coordinating care delivery and ensuring patient progression. Provide health teaching and promotion to maintain a safe environment, consult with interdisciplinary teams to enhance abilities, and evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Document nursing activities and patient care using applicable technology and software. This role requires BLS certification within 60 days of hire and a minimum of 5 years of Registered Nurse experience. Candidates must be proficient in lifting over 25 pounds constantly and may face exposure to radiation and contaminated needles. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
- South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work capability: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
