Job Summary
Assess patients, perform skilled procedures, and implement care plans in the PACU. Administer medications and IV therapy while evaluating progress toward desired outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for nursing care coordination, patient education, and discharge planning. Maintain ethical standards protecting patient autonomy and rights. Requires BSN, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification; 1-3 years critical care experience preferred. Located at Saint Joseph East in Lexington, Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered Nurse: KY
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years Critical care experience (ER, ICU, PCU)
