Job Summary
Delivers care to ambulatory surgical and pain management patients, assessing data to identify age-specific needs and interpreting information for safe interventions. Administers medications, manages complex multi-system patients using time and resources efficiently, and teaches patients and families about discharge planning. Develops and revises patient care plans based on clinical judgment, documents progress toward outcomes, and directs nursing students and surgical technologists in delegated activities. Requires current New Hampshire RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS certification within three months, and an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Reports to the Director or Resource Nurse. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree (A.D.) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), from an accredited School of Nursing
- BCLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Current New Hampshire State Registered Nurse license
- Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team
- Ability to regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 - 50 pounds
