Job Summary
PACU RN responsible for immediate post-operative care of surgical patients, including airway management, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, responding to complications, initial wound care, and collaboration with surgical/anesthesia teams. Role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours. Self/scheduling posted four weeks in advance; supportive leadership and staffing resources available. Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment and follow-up. Apply evidence-based nursing practices consistently and work within a dynamic interdisciplinary team. Requirements include ACLS within 30 days, BLS within 30 days, RN license, RN Diploma, with critical care experience preferred. Location: Gainesville, FL.
Required Qualifications
- RN Diploma or equivalent
- Registered Nurse license (RN)
- ACLS within 30 days of start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
- Critical care experience preferred
