Job Summary
Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in the PACU in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Maintain licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Georgia in good standing and hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Work evenings from 11 am to 11:30 pm with weekend and on-call requirements. This role supports Northside Hospital's award-winning, state-of-the-art care model in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- On-Call Requirements: Yes
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
