Job Summary
Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation while delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure and preparation. Develop tailored care plans, apply appropriate interventions, and continuously evaluate patient outcomes to enhance overall care quality. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data. Exercise professional autonomy by making informed decisions and promoting health. Requires current nursing licensure, BCLS certification within one month, ACLS within three months, and PALS within one year, plus two years of ICU nursing experience. Shift rotation includes day/eve schedules with weekends and holidays; FTE is 0.8.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months
- Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certification within 1 year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Two years of previous ICU nursing experience
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be able to work call
- Must be able to work in the United States of America
- Must be able to pass post-offer screenings including verification of legal right to work, health screening, immunization review, licensure verification, background checks, and drug screen
