Job Summary
RN in the PACU at Marymount Hospital: provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, assess and coordinate discharge needs, and educate patients/families. Support includes assisting anesthesia in the pre-operative area with regional blocks and same-day discharge, administering prescribed medications per nursing protocol, and ensuring safe, compassionate perioperative care. Requires ADN or BSN651; RN licensure in state; 1 year acute care RN experience; BLS certification. Shift options include 6:00am-4:30pm or 8:00am-6:30pm. Relocation assistance available. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- One year of current acute care RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
